The Museum of Dreams publishes research and creative work that engages the social and political significance of dream life. We typically publish essays about dreams from the historical record or conversations with artists and cultural works that deal with dream life.
While much of our work is commissioned, we welcome inquires and proposals at any time. There is no limit on the length of proposed projects, but please keep in mind contributions rarely contain more than 5000 words. The best way to know if your submission is appropriate is to read some of the contributions found on our site.
The Museum of Dreams typically pays writers in the range of $500-$1000 (CAN) for essays & conversations, and offers CARFAC rates (at minimum) for the reproduction of creative work.
Short pitches and a brief bio can be submitted to: info (at) museumofdreams.org.
